Terms of Use

My backgrounds are free to use on personal websites & auction templates, with the exception of the images in my photograph gallery. You may not use any of my graphics on offensive or porn sites!
I do REQUIRE a link-back (hence the word "linkware") pointing to this site on any page where my graphics are being used.

You can use one of the small images at the bottom of this page, just right click and save to your computer and make the image into a link or just a text link to http://www.waterlilygraphics.com is fine as well. I feel it's a small thing to ask in exchange for using my work.

I'll even make it very easy for you - below are the codes to use. If you're using one of the buttons to link back, use the first one. If you'd prefer a simple text link, use the second. You can just copy & paste one of these codes right into your auction or webpage. I've noticed alot of people using my graphics & linking back in good faith.....but unfortunately, their links connect to nowhere so there must be an error somewhere in the code being used.

Both of these codes are well-within ebay's guidelines for third-party service links, they were specifically made that way.

DO NOT direct-link from this site - that is bandwidth stealing (and I don't want to have to POOP on your auction or webpage). In order to use my graphics, please right-click on the tile(s) you wish to use, save them to your own PC and then upload them to your OWN web/photo host.
Under no circumstances may you alter my graphics (meaning change them in ANY way) and call them your own. The vast majority of these backgrounds were made from photographs taken by myself & I'd recognize one of my own images regardless of any manipulation. I've seen this happening already and frankly, it sucks.
Please don't put them on your own or any other collective graphics website, these designs are exclusive to Waterlily Graphics & I alone hold copyright to them.
DO NOT take the backgrounds, title images, dividers or any other graphics that are used in the design of THIS site. I made those for myself and they are not included in what I offer here - sorry. You can always request something in the request forum
Purchasing a template from me absolutely does NOT give you the right to resell or redistribute my instructions OR the coding for the template itself...those are also copyright D. Scannell/Waterlily Graphics.
If you want to give away or allow others to use the graphics or background tiles only that were custom made for you, that's your choice.
If you'd like a simple custom title or matching buttons for your page.....or even one of the existing tiles in another color, please visit the request forum and I'll see what I can do, these things can *usually* be whipped up fairly quickly.

These buttons conform to ebay's rules regarding third-party links. They are the exact size permitted and the text portion is well within their "10 word limit". To use a button, just right click & save the image to your pc & picture host, then insert the image URL into the space indicated in the first block of coding above.
