I've always had a hard time finding very muted, soft tiles for backgrounds with just a hint of color. Here are a few I concocted in PSP.

Please DO NOT link directly from this site. To save tiles to your own computer, right-click on the image and click "save as" to put the image into a selected folder on your own pc, then upload them to your own web/picture host for use.
